An officer’s death in 1985 shocked a community. An investigation began into who pulled the trigger, but it left more questions than answers. 

It’s been nearly a quarter of a century since the remains of a man were discovered on October 4, 2000, along an old logging road just north of an unincorporated community in Northern Wisconsin.

While her killer was behind bars, Cassandra was still missing — until November 30, 2024.

In 2019, for friends, family, and investigators, the ruling against Jason Sypher meant putting a killer behind bars, but knowing what really happened or where his victim is, is still a mystery. 

Two sheriffs in two states are certain Christopher Revak is responsible for the deaths of two women. Now a third investigative agency is actively looking into him on another unsolved case.

This episode, we’re going to do something we typically don’t. We are sharing with you upfront who investigators believe killed a Wisconsin Rapids woman in June 2006.

Since October 2023, family, friends, and law enforcement have been searching for a man who stepped into the woods in northern Wisconsin, never to be seen again.

For years, the Vilas County Sheriff’s office has worked to learn what they can about the 1990 disappearance and death of Susan Poupart.
