And this might sound silly, too, but sometimes, a person has to consider everything until it’s ruled out...if they have thoughts of it possibly being John, and when he was attempting to do the same to Emily as he did to Carla, he took her to the same location, might they consider searching that location for Shelly? I mean, just to rule it out? And maybe they did.

I’m sure it has. Like I said, silly question. The reason I’m asking is because I was reading reviews on the book written about the Carla Lenz case, and several local people left reviews. Emily’s coworker commented that John came in a lot and sat with her during her breaks. I thought, even if Shelly had worked with either one of the sisters, and he saw her a lot, then he would know her routine, maybe, or hear her talk about plans she had. Just a thought.

I am a native of Price County, and am ashamed to say I have never heard about Shelly’s case. But I have become so interested in cold cases now that I went looking for cold cases in my home area. I’m very familiar with the Carla Lenz story. I never knew her, yet it’s always haunted me. I think of her and Emily every time I drive past that road. This may be a silly question, being I’m late to this, but has anyone ever explored whether or not Emily and/or Carla Lenz had been friends w/Shelly?
